Salvador Caetano Auto will take over the import of the three brands.

Salvador Caetano Auto has reached an agreement with Dongfeng Motor Corporation and will now distribute cars from the three brands that make up this business group in Portugal: Voyah, Dongfeng and M-Hero. After BYD in 2023, more vehicles from Chinese manufacturers will be arriving in our country this year.

Founded in 1969, Dongfeng Motor Corporation is one of China’s leading vehicle manufacturers. In 2023, for example, its total sales reached 2.42 million cars, of which 231,000 were outside China.

These three brands will arrive in Portugal later this year, but the month is not yet known. In Spain, we know that the Voyah and M-Hero brands will begin to be marketed in April.

“This strategic alliance lays the foundations for a solid partnership between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Salvador Caetano Auto that will allow us to quickly position the Dongfeng Motor Corporation brands in Spain and Portugal thanks to the implementation of a more agile strategy, dedicated to each market and focused on the needs of our customers who are looking for intelligent options when choosing their vehicle,” said Sérgio Ribeiro, executive director of Salvador Caetano Auto.
