The Canadian airline Air Transat has announced that it intends to strengthen connections between the two countries.

If you’ve always dreamed of spending a vacation in Canada, take advantage of the opportunity: Air Transat, the Canadian airline, has just launched its flight program for the summer – and it includes increased connections to Portugal. The company will operate up to 22 direct flights a week from the beginning of May.

The offer includes trips from Lisbon and Porto to Canada, but also from Faro. “This summer there will be an additional direct flight from Porto to Montreal and Toronto, as well as a flight from Faro to Toronto, providing greater travel flexibility,” says Air Transat.

As of May, there will be six weekly direct flights to Montreal and another five to Toronto, departing from Lisbon. In the case of Porto, the airline will offer four direct flights a week to Montreal and five to Toronto. In addition to Lisbon and Porto, the Canadian airline will fly between Faro and Toronto once a week. Tickets start at €196.
