Yes, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Spain share the top spot in the ranking, where their holders can enjoy visa-free or visa on arrival access to 194 destinations around the world – the highest number recorded since the index was created.
The Asian nations of Japan and Singapore have dominated the top spot for the last five years, but the new top five reinforces Europe’s position.
The index continues with Finland and Sweden tied with South Korea in second place, with easy access to 193 destinations, while Austria, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands are in third place with 192 destinations).
Portugal follows in fourth place, accompanied by Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway and the United Kingdom, while Greece, Malta and Switzerland are in fifth place.
Australia and New Zealand improved their rankings and are now in 6th place, alongside the Czech Republic and Poland. The USA and Canada, meanwhile, are tied in seventh place, along with Hungary, with visa-free access to 188 destinations.
The Top 10 is completed with Estonia and Lithuania in eighth place (187 destinations), Latvia, Slovakia and Slovenia in ninth place (186 destinations) and Iceland (185 destinations) in 10th place.
