The Força Aérea (Portuguese Air Force) combining training missions with spreading New Year wishes.

Tomorrow, December 31, taking advantage of the last training flights of the year, two F-16M fighter jets will cross the skies over mainland Portugal, while a C-295M aircraft will fly over the islands of the central and eastern group of the Azores Archipelago and another C-295M will fly over the Madeira Archipelago.

These flights are designed to train and maintain the capabilities of our military personnel, which are necessary for carrying out operational missions.

Through these missions, the Air Force wishes everyone a happy 2024 while expressing its continued commitment to protecting and serving Portugal, 24 hours a day, all year round.
