Nearly three quarters (75%) of businesses find it difficult to maintain an innovative marketing strategy, as well as other tactics and technological issues.

According to data from LOCALiQ, shared by Marketing Week, the biggest obstacle marketing professionals face is related to accessing, organizing and using consumer data. There are also difficulties in defining a target audience.

The analysis also reveals that 59% of businesses have cut their budgets in the last year, specifically in digital marketing: search marketing (34%) and content marketing (31%) are the areas where this cut has been felt most.

According to 67% of the companies surveyed, the current cost of living has also had an impact on the way they look at marketing.
